Both the villa and surroundings are beautiful beyond words…so beautiful that they almost seem unreal. The view is breathtakingly expansive; the villa has an ineffable quality, a warm energy that welcomes you home with a distinct emphasis on privacy.

Recently renovated, the villa features traditional Cycladic architecture, famous for its uniqueness and charm. It is just a short walk to Santorini island’s capital, where a multitude of shops, restaurants, bars, and museums can be found, and an easy drive to Santorini’s extraordinary archeological sites and stunning beaches.

Our venue can accommodate up to 20 people for weddings, vow renewals, anniversaries, workshops or simply for a family or friends’ holiday where you can enjoy the exclusive private use of the villa.
Even at maximum capacity, the luxurious villa offers plenty of space for people to spread out and find their favorite corner to enjoy the serenity, never-ending-view and the mediterranean sun glittering on the Aegean Sea.

History of Seahorse Villa in Santorini

Since 1995

The Story

This is a unique property once owned by a German Prince and quite justly named “Falcon’s Nest” (Falkenhof) in a Financial Times article by Gerald Cadogan. Build around 1720 as a convent, it was carefully restored and expanded during the years 1982-1988.

In 1998 the residence came into the possession of today’s owner who brought it into its present form.

The local style was respected while international engineering standards were used, incorporating state of the art infrastructures. White “Dionysos” marble was used for flooring both indoors and on the terraces.
